No. VAYAM is designed to support families across a broad range of parenting, developmental, educational and healthcare journeys. This may include families of children with Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language Delays, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, Sensory Processing Challenges and other developmental needs.
VAYAM Community is a parent-first online community where parents can connect, share experiences, ask questions and support one another. It includes Circles, Meet, Chat and Market, creating a connected space where parents can learn from shared experiences and build meaningful connections with other families.
Circles are focused discussion spaces within VAYAM. Parents can participate in Private Circles, where discussions and posts are limited to invited members, or Open Circles, where parents can discover and participate in public discussions. Circles are designed to help parents have relevant conversations around shared interests, experiences, parenting topics, education, development and everyday challenges.
Meet helps parents discover and connect with other parents. Parents can search, discover and follow other profiles and find potentially relevant connections based on shared interests and parenting experiences. VAYAM can use AI-assisted matching to identify similarities between parents and their children's experiences. The matching system is intended to facilitate meaningful connections and is not a medical or developmental assessment.
Chat provides one-to-one communication between parents and other parents or available Experts. Parents can use Chat to continue conversations from the community, discuss experiences privately, ask follow-up questions or communicate with professionals.
Market is VAYAM's community marketplace where parents can Buy, Sell, Lend or Give Away useful items. These may include books, toys, learning materials, sensory items, educational resources, therapy-related products, equipment and other child-related items.
No. Marketplace transactions are conducted directly between users. Parents should independently evaluate listings, products, sellers and transaction arrangements. VAYAM does not inspect, endorse or guarantee products, payments, deliveries or transactions between users.

Experts include People such as teachers, therapists, doctors, coaches and Shadow Support professionals, as well as Institutes such as schools, hospitals and clinics, therapy centres and NGOs.
No. Expert participation on VAYAM is currently invite and recommendation based. Parents can recommend professionals or organizations that they believe may be valuable to the VAYAM community. VAYAM can then invite eligible professionals or organizations to participate. This approach is intended to help build a more trusted ecosystem rather than an open directory where anyone can freely create an Expert profile.
Yes. Parents can recommend a professional or organization they believe should be part of the VAYAM ecosystem. Recommendations can include teachers, therapists, doctors, coaches, Shadow Support professionals, schools, hospitals and clinics, therapy centres and NGOs.
Where applicable, VAYAM may request and review relevant identity, professional, registration, qualification or organizational information before an Expert receives an applicable verification status. Verification is intended to establish identity and relevant credentials. A verification badge does not guarantee the quality of services, treatment outcomes or professional recommendations.
Ask VAYAM is an AI-powered conversational assistant designed to help parents quickly understand information related to parenting, child development, education, health topics and everyday questions. Parents can ask questions in natural language and receive information intended to help them understand a topic, explore possible considerations and prepare for conversations with relevant professionals.
No. Ask VAYAM should not be used to diagnose medical, developmental, behavioural or psychological conditions. AI-generated information can contain errors or may not account for the complete context of an individual child. Parents should consult an appropriately qualified professional for diagnosis, treatment or professional assessment.
LifeBook is VAYAM's digital record of a child's journey. Parents can create and maintain LifeBooks for up to three children and record information covering the child's profile, developmental milestones, health, therapy, vaccinations, education, activities, achievements and observations. LifeBook brings important information together into one organized record that can evolve as the child grows.
Parents can maintain LifeBooks for up to three children within their VAYAM account. Each child's information is maintained separately so parents can track individual development, health, learning and experiences.
Child Profile is a private part of LifeBook where parents can record information that helps describe their child's unique characteristics and everyday experiences. Parents can add information such as behaviour, sensory preferences, emotional regulation, social communication, daily routines, interests and developmental observations. The profile can be updated as the child grows and their strengths, interests, behaviours and needs change.
No. Your child's detailed personal profile is private by design. VAYAM may use relevant, non-identifying insights from the profile to support features such as AI-assisted parent matching, but the underlying child information is not displayed to other parents simply because a match has been identified.
SafeID is VAYAM's emergency QR identification system for children. Parents can create a SafeID containing essential emergency information such as the child's name, photograph, date of birth, important parent notes and guardian contact information. VAYAM generates a unique QR code that can be downloaded and placed on an ID card, sticker, tag, school bag, wristband or another suitable item.
If a child is lost, separated from their parent or involved in an emergency, a person who finds the child can scan the SafeID QR code using an internet-enabled smartphone. The configured emergency information can then be displayed to help the person understand who the child is and how to contact their parent or guardian.
No. SafeID is not a continuous GPS tracking device. Location information is associated with SafeID scans. When the QR code is scanned, the available scan location and time information can be recorded and made available to the parent. SafeID therefore provides an additional layer of emergency visibility rather than continuous location tracking.
Milestones allows parents to record and follow their child's developmental progress over time. VAYAM organizes milestones across areas including Motor, Language, Cognitive, Social, Self-Help and Sensory development. Parents can also explore milestones according to different age and developmental stages, from early childhood through 7+ years.

It includes Growth Log, Clinical Notes, Prescriptions, Lab Tests, Parent Notes, Health & Therapy records and Vaccination Schedule. Keeping this information together can make it easier to retrieve relevant history when speaking with doctors, therapists or other professionals.
Growth Log allows parents to record and monitor their child's physical growth over time. Parents can add measurements such as height and weight along with the date of each measurement, creating a chronological growth record. The information can be useful when discussing growth history with qualified healthcare professionals. Growth Log is intended to organize information and does not independently provide a medical diagnosis or assessment.
